Perfect for family beach getaway

I had an absolute blast watching dolphins jumping outta the water every morning from my room, that view is killer! The staff? Super friendly, they really made me feel at home, especially that sweet lady who cleaned our room. I asked about extra towels and boom, she was back in no time.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but for a family stay, it was acceptable.

I really loved my stay here, especially with the fantastic ocean views from my room and balcony and the prime location just a short walk from the vibrant Virginia Beach Boardwalk and delicious dining spots like Roma Pizza and Sunnyside Cafe.

Great location and spacious room!

I recently stayed in an Oceanfront Efficiency for 2 nights, and I loved the beachfront access and spaciousness of the room. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise views right from our balcony, and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. However, the elevators could be more efficient as we sometimes had to wait a while to get one.

The television got stuck in an "Accessibility Mode," narrating everything on-screen, including actors' expressions. The phone in the room didn’t work, making it impossible to contact anyone when a truck damaged the water pipes, leaving us without water for the whole night. The room felt dated, impacting the overall experience, and a few view-blocking trucks outside didn’t help either. Even with these issues, the location was still enjoyable.

we had a great stay at the schooner inn, surpassing our expectations from previous visits to virginia beach. the oceanfront view was breathtaking, and the whirlpool tub added to our relaxation. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our experience feel special.

Oceanfront King Whirlpool room had a nice balcony with stunning views of the Atlantic. The room was clean and spacious, featuring a whirlpool bath, microwave, and refrigerator. Loved the outdoor pool – refreshing! Free parking was a bonus. Plus, they let us check in early without extra fees. Really chill place right on the boardwalk.

Got an oceanfront efficiency room and absolutely loved the view! We kicked back by the pool and enjoyed the beach access every day. Only wish the pool hours were clearer on their site, but definitely recommend checking this place out! 🌊
